Looking for a gift for the writer in your life?
What’s the most common trait among writers? No, I don’t mean the You’re-A-Fraud banshee that occasionally screams in our heads that our work is going nowhere and we suck (Although she is common enough so that I wrote a blog post about her).
I mean the thing that powers our creativity, especially during 5am and late night writing sessions.
Coffee !
Do you know a writer who takes coffee to their workspace, then taps away until it becomes tepid?
The perfect gift: coffee that never gets cold!
This is a mug that automatically keeps our elixir of creativity warm — for as long as it takes! I’ll admit it’s not the cheapest gift at around $100, but it all has lots of advantages for tech wannabees.
You can control it from your iPhone (yes truly!) and if you want to look even more like a spy you can change the temperature from your Apple watch. Although personally, I honestly don’t know why you’d want to do that?
Most importantly, you decide the temperature you prefer to drink your coffee, and once in the mug it stays at that temperature. Neat, eh?
Hubby received one as a gift originally, and we’ve had two of them in our house for a few years (yes, it even travels with us as digital nomads!).
The mug is super easy to use: you can set the temperature once and it’ll always keep your drinks at that heat level once you pour in your liquid and turn on the mug.
We have the white one (first generation and still working), but it now comes in a sleeker black model and copper, too.
But any of them will ensure your coffee stays warm long as needed to fuel that burst of inspiration!
There is also a flask now from same brand, but I can’t vouch for it, and the reviews seem a bit variable on its reliability.
